Nobody can have failed to notice the incredible rise in the price of gas in recent months. We could all go out and buy more efficient and economical cars. These smaller cars have been designed to use less gas and if you are changing your car anyway you should consider these more economical vehicles. Most of us are stuck with the car we already have so all we can do about this is to get the best miles per gallon out of the car we have. Regular sevicing will help your car run at its best and you might also think about adding energy efficient gas saving devices to your car.
These gas saving devices have been mocked over the years. Car companies and the oil industry have been quick to dismiss them. The trouble is that these organizations have a vested interest and the oil companies wanted us to use more gas while the car companies didn't want to look like they were not bothered about our cars fuel consumption.
Maybe in the past the savings were not worthwhile. The cost of the device might have taken years to repay because gas was cheap. Now that gas is so expensive we should look again at these devices to see if there is a case to be made for them.
It seems to be years now that we have been told the future is with hydrogen gas. There are a few hydrogen cars being tested now but it will be a time before they are common on our roads but there are people who have been working on using their own hydrogen systems to save gas on the cars we already have.
