Honda, an automaker based in Japan, had released the SI series which has the meaning "Sport Injected". SI had penetrated the car market both in North America and Japan where it originated, this had signified to be the most powerful model for Civic that are out there in the market.

The origins of Honda Civic SI can be traced back in 1984 when it first debuted.
