It is understandable that so many individuals have formed an obsession with the life style, the music, and the videos that are used to contain everything about the raving way of live.

Before diving into the factors that make rave music videos great you must first understand the music that drives them. Rave music is generally known as a combination of hardcore techno and fast break beat music. Trance music and many other genres are contained in this form of music, which uses loops and synthesizers to create the unique sounds. Some of the first popular groups to create this style were The Shamen, The Prodigy, and Utah Saints.

The moment a groups songs are played a rave it is generally considered rave music. A rave is an enormous party that can last for days. Hard pumping music and usually a high amount of drug use are brought together to form these celebrations.

The drug that was made famous by these large rave scenes was the pill called ecstasy. This drug is preferred by rave goers because of its ability to expand upon hard bounding music and bright lights, especially when put in motion. This is why when watching a rave music video you will see a lot of very bright colors along with a lot of movement. While on ecstasy the listeners of rave music say that the sound is clearer and more fluid. When ecstasy is mixed with dancing, and music users say that they enter a highly pleasurable state of mind.

Dancing is at huge importance when making a rave music video. The most popular form of rave dancing is known as liquid dancing. As could be guessed by the name this form of dance the goal of the dancer is to make his or her body appear to be liquid. Most people only apply their arms and legs to the dance, but some of the more talented dancers can use their entire body.

Liquid dancing is formed from the style of eighties b-boy style break dancing. There are several different techniques and styles that can be applied to a dancer's personal style. Hand flow, rails, waves, traces, threads, contours, splits, and builds are all techniques that can be put in place in order to fully master the art of liquid dancing.

Hand flow is generally the simplest and most easily grasped technique. There is no specific method to the technique. As long as the dancer is able to encompass a liquid motion to the dance it will be acceptable. The wave technique is the most popularly imitated form of liquid dancing. While waving the dancer must make it seem that there is a wave passing through their body, tensing and relaxing their muscles to the music.

Rave music videos are quickly increasing in popularity. The full involvement in motion, sound, and visual aids can be credited for this. The videos ability to pleasure every sense the body has to offer will guarantee and audience for as long as it is being produced.
