Pick a HOT idea that is going to get people to link to you.
If you spend enough time at forums and talking with people in your industry, you will find a HOT need everyone has that you can offer to them for free at your site. Once you have something like this, your traffic counter will go through the roof!
As well you can utilize such alternative traffic Plug ins as:
- Free Classified Sites
- Postcard Sites
- Magazine Sites
- Message Boards
- Chat Rooms
- etc.
2. Start Your Own Opt-In Mailing List.
Bulk email is out...Opt-In is in. The most effective sales tool ever created on the internet is email. The problem has been that many individuals have been using it to Spam everyone online with their sales messages! This causes instant countermeasures by those Spammed, and the Spammers quickly find themselves without email addresses or websites to conduct business online.
Opt in email is the online tool for times to come. The simplest method is to set up your own e-zine. If you desire to remain competitive you will have an e-zine if you don't have one already. It is the only way to stay even with your competitors in your market. An easy method of setting one ups is to go to http://www.listbot.com and set one up for free!
Your ezine can be published every day, week or month. Whatever will work into your business best. Don't think you can write your own articles? There are plenty out there for you to use for free. Just look around. Running your ezine is not hard and it can increase your profits. There really isn't a good reason not to build one.
3. Your Optin List and Using its Seven Profit Streams
Your Opt-In Mailing list have 7 Profit streams...In this short space I am going to mention just 2 of them which can produce a GUARANTEED residual monthly income for you no matter what type of business you are in.
The primary profit stream for your ezine is of course your own product or service Each month you have a new product or service as a special offering. Or you can have a bonus to be offered with the product you have for that month.
Whereas bulk email has horrible response rates, Opt-In email with your subscribers has been known to produce response rates of 1% to 10%! Think about it.
With your product valued at $97 you offer it to your list of a mere two thousand people and in return get a response rate of 1%. That gives you a gross income of $1940. What if you get a 2% response rate, you will then make $3880! In addition, you offer monthly or maybe even weekly!
Imagine your list with 50,000 opt-in members on it. There are lists that contain as many as six hundred thousand members or more. A small list with two thousand members, and frankly that is small, can be assembled in just a few months, utilizing a small ad budget.
The 2nd profit stream from your opt in list is offering classified advertisement. With an ever expanding list you can give folks the opportunity to pay you to post their classified ads on your ezine. By offering your ad space for 20 dollars/week and selling 10 ads/week you can bring in an additional 800 dollars a month. Now that isn't a huge amount but it is income every month.
