How the Law of Attraction is Related to Personal Responsibility
Responsibility for our lives is something we never lose but which we often deny. This translates into the fact that we can give away control but not responsibility. On judgment day, we alone are going to be responsible for what we made of our lives and how we used our lives.
The Law of Attraction is where we stop fooling ourselves, stop passing the buck. Like Attracts Like. That means I am responsible for all that has happens/ed to me. I want to be .. using the Law of Attraction, I could be Have I achieved my goal? There is no one else to blame. Sounds harsh?
In order to do this you are going to have to really listen to your own thoughts. What is gong through your mind? Listen to it without trying to analyze what it means or to rationalize those thoughts. You need to be open to what is going on and not passing judgment for how you feel. You have to be very positive though with the Law of Attraction or else you can end up attracting those things in life you really don't want instead.
As simple as it may sound, we do not begin to receive as soon as we begin to want. In reality there are delays or roadblocks. The road to success lies in our ability to remain focused on our 'wants' despite the delays we experience or despite things going wrong. The trick lies in remaining hopeful and optimistic. We need to focus on our goal, believe that we will achieve it, stay in the present and focus on all the mini-goals we are achieving en route to achieving our ultimate goal. Frustration and despair will be our downfall.
The first step towards mastering the Law of Attraction is taking responsibility. Whatever we want will come to pass. Whatever happened to us, happened because we wanted it to. We can control our future and what will happen to us. The first hurdle to climb is How to stop thinking about what we don't want to happen to us? We need to accept responsibility for the fact that we are attracting whatever is happening to us. This in itself will raise our consciousness of our thoughts and give us more control over the Law of Attraction that is working in our lives.
A mother out with her kids, having a bad time while the kids pick fights with each other, and throw tantrums is mortified by the attention they have attracted. This would happen because before setting out the mother would have foreseen that this could happen so she would have decided to stay between the two kids all the time or she may have bribed them with goodies should they behave themselves while they are out. The mother precipitated the situation by her thoughts or forewarnings. Unconsciously the mother attracted the bad behavior of her children.
While assuming responsibility for creating our reality, we also need to accept the power to change it. We need to consciously focus on 'What We Want'. Some negative thoughts are bound to pop into our heads, but rather than focus on them and 'be realistic', we need to swamp them with positive energy and find a work around. Rather than bracing and preparing herself for her children's behavior, the mother should focus on the good trip they are going to have and the fun time it will be. Children will normally deliver what Is expected of them.
Most often we chose to blame unpleasant things on a higher power over which we have no control. We are straight away denying responsibility for what we are experiencing. This is negative and will attract negative energy and 'whatever has to happen, will happen' will be our attitude. Most often we focus on what we are getting or experiencing at present. This automatically attracts more of the same and we are not able to progress.
You have the power to make your life much more than it is right now. All you need is to embrace the Law of Attraction as well as to sincerely accept all responsibility for what takes place in your life. It is going to take time and you are going to have to practice. This way you can start to effectively change your behaviors. You will also find the inspiration and motivation to continue striving for your goals.
Don't fool yourself though into thinking you can fully benefit from the Law of Attraction though if you fail to accept responsibility. It is that link that is going to help you benefit from the changes you can evoke. It is this process that will generate the positive energy you need to make the Law of Attraction work for you.
