What is the Law of Attraction and How Does It Work
The Laws of Attraction are a part of life, so you can live by then or you can choose not to. Many people have other names for them including The Golden Rule or Karma. There are certainly many expressions out there that people use all the time to explain it. We have often heard from our parents that you get what you give to others. When some one has done wrong people of then tell us not to worry as Karma will catch up to them - what comes around goes around.
In very simple terms, the Law of Attraction means that you are going to have positive energy. It is going to be found in what you say, what you do, what you believe, and how you feel. As a result of this you are going to attract very positive things for yourself today and into the future. What you are drawn to accomplish is going to be very different from that of the next person. For many people how they react to the Law of Attraction also depends on where they are in life. As a person gets older their wants and needs definitely change from those of earlier times. Experience is an amazing teacher that brings with it value that you can't get from anything else in life. There are many variables that will influence the Law of Attraction so you need to know early on that you can't control all of them.
Yet the more positive energy that you try to emit the more people of the same energy you will attract. You will also find good in many situations when others can't. All of us are going to be affected by things in life that we don't like. There will be the loss of relationships as well as loved ones. Some of these things are the result of our own choices while others aren't.
Yet if you choose to look for the good in those types of things you will get through them. You can choose to make the end results of these events positive for you or just to feel victimized and let fate take its course. You will be much happier if you are in control of the results though. The only way to do this though is to continue to strive to attract the positive things in your life. You need to listen to your mind and your heart so that they can become in sync about what you want. Only after you do this can you actually plan a good course of action to make it happen for you.
Here are some helpful hints to make the Laws of Attraction work for you. First, you need to listen to your feelings both physically and mentally. Pay attention to how your body responds when you are thinking about something in particular. Some of the things you experience will be positive while others will be negative. Those that leave you feeling afraid, scared, or full of negative energy are where you need to focus on making some positive changes. This way you can end up with more positive energy in your life than ever before.
One of the easiest and most rewarding ways to make this happen is to take an inventory of the positive things you already have in your life. Too many people are too busy reaching for more to see what is right there in their reach. It can be a very humbling experience and certainly one that leaves you feeling more fulfilled than ever before.
Desire is the more positive of the two emotions that will lead to a positive force of attraction. While Need is more negative and is synonymous with feelings of lack. It is therefore necessary to be passionate about your desired outcome, yet at the same time remain light-hearted and unattached.
Spend a great deal of time thinking about those ultimate goals. Don't let doubt creep in that will zap your positive energy. If you start to think about what can prevent you from reaching your goal you need to nip it in the bud. You need to erase such thoughts from your mind and focus only on those that are positive.
Act on opportunities that crop up as you experience the law of attraction. Remember that these are stepping-stones to achieving your goals. Seemingly unrelated and inconsequential encounters can have a great significance as you pursue your dreams. Engaging the law of attraction calls for persistence and focus on your goal. In today's world of instant gratification and microwave popcorn, we need to focus on Persistence while we remember that which comes easiest or fastest is often not the best. Remember "Where there's vision, there's a way."
Make sure you truly love yourself as well. A positive self image is vital to generating positive energy. It is going to allow you to believe in yourself enough to work for what you want. It is going to help you smother those negative thoughts that will leave you powerless. There are many benefits to the Law of Attraction once you fully understand what it entails.
