A Tremendous Amount Of Love
Just one year after 22 year old Charlie "Tremendous" Jones began his insurance career, he was awarded a Most Valuable Associate Award by his company. Ten short years later, he was awarded the company's highest management award. It's no surprise that with a record like that, he decided to start Life Management Services, a consulting and seminar business.
Charlie Jones isn't only an insurance salesman. He is the author of nine books, including "Life Is Tremendous", and he is one of the world's top speakers in leadership and motivation. Charlie has a passion for helping others. He often invites children to his home to hand out gifts as if he were some sort of Santa.
Now in his 80's, married to the same woman all of his adult life, you might consider Charlie Jones an expert on relationships as well. Commitment, not love, is the key to a healthy marriage. Charlie believes a woman needs a man who is willing to stay by her side through all of life's trials.
What makes you different from the person you'll be in five years, according to Charlie Jones, is the books you've read and the people you've met. Each of us is nothing more than what our experiences have taught us to be. The more you learn, the more you can become. Charlie encourages people to read just as he has always done.
Charlie Jones didn't give himself the nickname "Tremendous". Quite the contrary, actually. He doesn't like the name. It's just a word he's known to say when something good happens like the birth of a child. People started calling him "Tremendous Jones", and the name stuck.
Charlie doesn't particularly like being called Tremendous, because it sounds like something you would call a football player or wrestler. He would rather be called something like "Learning Jones" or "Thankful Jones". He's a sincere person who loves learning and loves helping others. He wants nothing more than to pass on those passions to others.
Charlie Jones grew up in the 1930's, a time when everyone was poor. Although they didn't attend any religious services themselves, Charlie's parents always sent him and his siblings to church alone. It was through a dedicated Bible class teacher that Charlie's devout faith in God was born. In turn, Charlie shows his godly love to poor children by inviting them to is estate home, complete with hot dogs, popcorn, Christmas presents (year round) and an amusement park.
If you're not a Christian, don't feel as if you need to water down your faith in the presence of Charlie Jones. He will never compromise his beliefs, and he expects no less of the people he meets. He believes everyone has the right and responsibility to look inside their heart and decide what is truth. He loves all people regardless of religion.
